Job Summary:

The Senior Accounting Manager is under the direct supervision and direction of the Controller. Working in a team environment, the Accounting Senior Manager handles a variety of tasks in producing and analyzing the monthly financial statements. This position adheres to all Federal, State, Local and Company policies and regulations. Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Completing monthly closings of companies
• Preparing monthly consolidated and divisional financial statements
• Preparing, processing, and reviewing journal entries
• Reconciling general ledger accounts
• Reviewing branch performance
• Adhering to a strict closing schedule
• Assisting in the annual audit process
• Preparing weekly sales reports
• Providing analysis and research as needed to ensure accurate financial information
• Managing and developing GL Accounting team
• Participate in acquisition integration activities
• Assisting in special projects and activities, as assigned

• Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA preferred
  • Experience in the healthcare industry preferred
  • 5 - 7 years of experience in accounting, specifically working in general ledger
  • Microsoft Dynamics GP experience preferred
  • ADP experience preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Flexible scheduling to meet changing closing deadlines
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Comfortable working collaboratively in cross-functional teams
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of an organization
